Everyone was really intrigued as to why we had balloons in our classroom this morning. Well , we used them to learn how to write using speech marks.
We learned that all the speech in a ‘speech bubble’ is written in speech marks to show that someone is talking.
Then we had lots of fun bursting the speech bubbles (balloons!) and writing our sentences in speech marks.
